Jump in and discover your inner entrepreneur!
The Schulze School invites you and up to four students from your high school to join us for this unique, fast-paced, one-day event where you’ll learn creative problem solving, critical thinking, ideation and more—all the elements you need to think like an entrepreneur or become a successful innovator.
You will attend a hands-on workshop in design thinking and ideation and collaborate with other entrepreneurial-minded students to create a prototype for a business concept. The day will conclude with the opportunity to watch current St. Thomas students pitch business ideas at one of our signature competition events.
This opportunity is open to all high school sophomores, juniors and seniors. We’ll provide the food, fun and unique learning experience at no cost.

The Schulze School of Entrepreneurship is proud to host the Young Entrepreneurs Academy (YEA) to bring a cutting-edge program to help Minnesota high school students launch real businesses and social movements. YEA takes students grade 6-12 through the process of creating and launching a real business or social movement over the course of an academic year.
During the 30-week program headed by the Minneapolis Regional Chamber’s Development Foundation, students brainstorm and form their business ideas, make pitches to investors for startup funding, file DBAs and launch their own businesses or social movements. Local professionals and entrepreneurs, including St. Thomas alumni, across a variety of industries are invited to support the students throughout the hands-on curriculum as mentors, field trip hosts or guest lecturers.
