GRADUATE CERTIFICATE IN INTEGRATED MARKETING COMMUNICATION ACADEMIC EXPERIENCE

Gain the Knowledge and Credibility You Need to Succeed

Whether you currently work in marketing communications or hope to enter the communications field in the future, our Graduate Certificate in Integrated Marketing Communication gives you the knowledge and skills to excel. Through readings, case studies and application exercises, students build a foundational understanding of the impact and application of marketing communication and reputation management, and develop strategic knowledge and practical skills.

Complete the program at your own pace, in as little as one year or longer if needed. Designed for working professionals, the flexible program is taken in the evenings after your normal workday. Earn your graduate certificate on its own if you have completed an MBA, or complete your certificate with elective credits as you earn a St. Thomas MBA.

Applied Learning

St. Thomas uses an applied learning approach—we teach with hands-on, real-world experiences. Our curriculum was developed in partnership with industry experts, to prepare you to handle challenges in the workplace. Leverage the information you learn in class to solve practical problems using industry-standard tools and terminology. Plus, our professional effectiveness courses prepare you to communicate with various stakeholders.

Traditional vs. Hybrid Courses

Choose from traditional on-campus classes, or courses that take place both in person and online. Hybrid courses can offer greater scheduling flexibility, feature the latest online instructional technologies to complement less frequent classroom sessions on campus. If you take a hybrid course, during the weeks between on-campus meetings, you’ll stay engaged thorough web-based presentations and interactions with peers and faculty.

How Often Will You Attend Class?

During the Fall and Spring semesters, traditional courses usually meet weeknight per week (M – Th) from roughly 6 to 9 pm. Summer courses typically meet on weeknights from late May to August, from 5:30 to 9:45 pm. J-term classes usually meet once a week (M-Th), and all day Saturday throughout January.
