Undergraduate Marketing Management Program

Become a Skilled, Innovative Marketer

With the St. Thomas Marketing Management concentration, you’ll learn how to critically evaluate the global marketing environment and identify strategic opportunities and challenges. You’ll know how to leverage research, competitive analysis, market segmentation and target marketing to retain existing customers and attract new ones.

Our curriculum includes core business courses as well as specialized classes to develop your marketing expertise. Our highly engaged faculty and small class sizes ensure that you receive plenty of individual attention, and your faculty advisor supports and guides your student journey.     In addition to your major courses, you’ll also take courses in the St. Thomas Core Curriculum throughout your four years.

    Learning Through Service: Business 200

    We believe that businesses need to be socially responsible in the communities where they operate. All undergraduate business majors and minors are required to complete BUSN 200, a zero-credit, tuition-free course that includes 40 hours of community service and a series of reflective seminars. This service learning helps you grow into a highly principled global business professional, and an effective and ethical leader who’s prepared to make positive contributions in both your profession and community.

    Gain Real-world Experience and Exposure

    In the Capstone course, you’ll work with actual clients of the St. Thomas Small Business Institute (SBI). You and your team of peers will diagnose the client’s business problems, then craft and present a solution. Attend networking events and presentations hosted by the St. Thomas chapter of the American Marketing Association. Listen to marketing professionals share their experiences and expertise, and build relationships with peers and potential employers.
