Is This Program Right for You?

Since this is not a foundational course, you must have a background knowledge in project management to attend. Ideally, you have previously attended a formal project management class and are familiar with concepts presented in A guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide) from the Project Management Institute. You should plan to take the PMP® exam within 60 days of completing this course.

Earn the Required 35 Contact Hours for PMP® Designation

Our program has been approved by the Project Management Institute (PMI)® for the required 35 contact hours of training you need to sit for the PMP® exam. You’ll earn 28 contact hours in class and an additional 7 contact hours online. If you currently hold a PMI® certification, this program counts as 35 PDUs for maintaining your credentials. We are approved by PMI® to issue PDUs for project management programs.

Learn the Ins and Outs of the PMBOK® Guide

Work through the PMBOK® Guide - Sixth edition and understand what it means to be a PMP® certified project manager.

This video explains the tools and practices that will be made available to those who enroll in the Project Management Prep course through the University of St. Thomas' Executive Education Program. Information and exercises offered through this program will prepare participants for the PMP® exam.

To help you prepare for the PMP®  exam, our Project Management Prep program uses lecture, in-class exercises and practice questions to teach you what you need to know to pass it.
