Family Business Advisor Engagement Luncheon

When the unexpected happens to a family business leader, major impacts can hit the family, business and its owners, often simultaneously. Harbored family issues can rise to the surface. The business may have a vacuum created by a family member's sudden absence, and the owners and potential owners may start to position themselves for the future.

We're taking an interactive approach to this third session of the 2019 Family Business Advisor Engagement Luncheon. Richard L. Narva, Esq., founder of Boston-based Narva & Company, Advisors to Family Enterprise, will lead attendees through an engaging case study challenging us to think through impacts of the unexpected and how to move the family business forward when it occurs. This fun and highly interactive session will deepen family/advisor relationships, going beyond technical areas to make lasting impacts for the future.

Prior to founding Narva & Company in 2009, Richard was a partner at The Roseview Group, a boutique business advisory and investment banking firm, following more than two decades of family business consultation as principal and co-founder of Genus Resources, Inc. He is also a Fellow of the Family Firm Institute. Narva has more than 45 years of experience as a mergers & acquisitions lawyer, was the third generation CEO of his family's firm, and has advised more than 400 families and their business enterprises.
