Dr. Ernest Owens

Dr. Ernest L. Owens, Jr. Ed.D, MBA, CPPM, PMP, Six Sigma Black Belt is a full-time tenured Assistant Professor of Business at the University of St. Thomas. Dr. Owens specializes in Project, Strategic, and Operations Management. He is the Lead Faculty at St. Thomas in the College of Business for Project Management. Dr. Owens is the 2020 Diversity and Inclusion award winner for the Opus College of Business (OCB). He also won the 2020 OCB Service Award for his distinguished service. Owens is a 2020-2021 University of St. Thomas DEI Fellow.

Lynn Olsen, Ph.D. is the founder and CEO of The Innovation Group, Inc., a Minnesota-based leadership and organization development consultancy. Olsen holds a Bachelor of Science in Management degree with valedictory honors from Cardinal Stritch University, an MBA from the University of St. Thomas, and a Ph.D. in Leadership and Change in the Professions from Antioch University.

Alison is an adjunct faculty at the University of St. Thomas, teaching in the Executive MBA Program and the St. Thomas Executive Program (STEP). Prior to her teaching and consulting, she was the Vice President of Organization Design and Development for Caribou Coffee and Einstein Noah Restaurant Group.
