Focus Your Business Degree
St. Thomas offers a wide range of business majors, which give you the knowledge, skills and experience to excel in your chosen discipline. You’ll spend your freshman and sophomore years taking core business classes. These required classes give you a solid foundation in business principles and practice, and help you explore your interests. At the end of your sophomore year, you’ll work with your faculty advisor to choose your concentration.
The curriculum for each business concentration balances theory with experiential learning, and emphasizes ethics, responsibility and community service. St. Thomas is accredited by the AACSB, and is the alma mater of thousands of notable business professionals across the country and around the world.
Earn a BS in Business Administration
As an undergraduate business student at St. Thomas, you’ll spend your first two years taking our required core curriculum. This gives you a solid understanding of business, and exposes you to a variety of branches of business, including accounting, marketing, entrepreneurship, and more. At the end of your sophomore year, you’ll choose a major, then spend your junior and senior years taking specialized classes. To add a competitive edge to their qualifications, many students choose to double major or add a minor.
