Designed for Busy Health Care Professionals
Meet your specific educational goals while balancing a full-time career and other personal commitments with our hybrid Health Care MBA program. This 21-month program combines interactive online coursework and instruction with occasional on-campus classes and other in-person seminars and events.
Build strong relationships and enhance your learning experience at three-day sessions on our Minneapolis campus approximately every two months. These concentrated, face-to-face experiences with faculty and fellow students introduce each course and provide opportunities for:
- Interactive group exercises
- Case studies
- Guest speakers
- Professional development
- Exploring hot topics in health care
Between campus visits, enjoy the flexibility of online coursework and class meetings. There are no set class times, so you can accomplish your coursework according to your own schedule. Faculty use a variety of tools throughout their courses to give you opportunities for direct interaction and group discussion.
Through it all, connect and collaborate with a steady cohort of talented peers in a team-based environment designed for busy health care professionals. Get additional support from personal coaching and executive-style concierge services.

To kick off the Health Care MBA program, you’ll attend a three-day residency on the St. Thomas Minneapolis campus to meet your faculty and staff and fellow students while starting your first-session courses.
Once per session (about every two months), you’ll spend three days in an on-campus residency, with interactive group exercises, case studies, guest speakers and special programs that focus on professional development and current hot topics in health care.Online Collaborative Learning

Your Own Learning Community
Our Health Care MBA program is built upon a cohort learning model. As part of a 20+ student cohort, you’ll form strong personal and intellectual connections with the same group of health care professionals as you move together through the program.
You and your peers will draw upon your diverse experiences to provide meaningful examples and real-life case studies to course dialogue and team projects. Plus, your cohort will be a valuable network and resource pool long after graduation.
