Practical Tools, Connection, & Resources for Impact Leaders

Impact Leaders Summit

Connecting Leaders whose Missions are Rooted in Social & Environmental Impact

St. Thomas Institute for Social Innovation and Social Enterprise MSP are partnering to convene leaders from the Twin Cities Impact sector for an interactive summit. The gathering will address the need for opportunities for impact leaders to convene with other like-minded organizations, gain tools to enhance their missions, and address their unique challenges. This summit will provide a platform for leaders to balance their broader impact goals with personal well-being, access skills and strategies tailored to their needs, and connect with valuable resources to support their organizations effectively.

This event is a direct response to the needs identified by participants in SE-MSP’s Impact Ecosystem Collective (IEC). Throughout 2024, these leaders highlighted three key needs:

  1. Building connections with fellow changemakers
  2. Addressing isolation and burnout
  3. Accessing the right resources and support for their organizations

The Impact Leaders Summit is designed to equip attendees with practical tools, actionable next steps, and meaningful connections to enhance their work in the Twin Cities.

The summit will feature an interactive keynote by Christopher Wong Michaelson, author of Is Your Work Worth It?, who will explore the deeper meaning of their work through engaging stories and questions.

Following the keynote, expert facilitators will lead a workshop focused on supporting well-being for impact leaders. Participants will identify their current needs to address burnout and isolation while working on systems change.

The workshop will then provide opportunities for attendees to connect with representatives from organizations offering support services, including capacity building, leadership development, well-being resources, and funding.
