AI Agents at Work: From Data to Decisions

See an AI agent handle a business task from start to finish—and learn how to test one responsibly in your organization.

AI Agents at Work: November 4 in Minneapolis

What happens when AI moves beyond answering questions and starts completing work?

Join Opus College of Business professors Mark Price and Katie Berry for a live demonstration of an AI agent handling a real business task. You’ll watch the agent take a goal, break it into steps and work toward a useful result.

Along the way, you’ll see how data, analytics, and AI come together to solve a business problem. You’ll also learn where human judgment remains essential and how organizations can use AI agents responsibly.

Why AI agents matter

Unlike a chatbot that responds to a single prompt, an AI agent can move through a multistep process. It can read documents, analyze information, produce outputs and identify decisions that require a person.

Organizations are already exploring how to put these capabilities to work. According to McKinsey, 9 in 10 organizations regularly use AI in at least one business function, but only about 40% report scaling AI agents.

What you’ll learn

  • How AI agents differ from familiar generative AI tools
  • How data and analytics support an agent’s work
  • How an agent approaches a multistep business problem
  • Where human oversight and judgment remain essential
  • What organizations should consider when selecting a first pilot
