    St. Thomas Executive Education supports working professionals across Minnesota and beyond at every career and life stage, from individual contributors to senior executives. Our practical, experience-rich programs are designed for people who want skills they can apply immediately, whether they are advancing, transitioning, or reentering the workforce.

    Open Enrollment: 

    Open Enrollment Classes are held on the St. Thomas Minneapolis Campus: 

    1000 La Salle Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55403

    Select courses, including Online Certified Professional Project Management (OCPPM) and Smart Start for Business, are available as online classes.

    Parking:

    Convenient on-campus parking is available and included with your enrollment.

    Custom Programs:

    If your course is employer-hosted, the location may vary. Please refer to your welcome email for location details.

    Explore our wide variety of discounts:

    Alumni: St. Thomas undergraduate and graduate degree holders receive a 20% discount to continue their learning at St. Thomas. Include your graduation year and degree at checkout to activate the discount.

    Veteran and Military: Veteran and active service members receive a 20% discount on any of our open enrollment programs. Use code "Veteran20" at checkout.

    Dislocated Workers: We offer a 15% discount to those working with the Minnesota Dislocated Worker Program. Contact the Minnesota Dislocated Worker Program (MDWP) to determine your eligibility and start the application process for the program.

    Group Discount: Groups of three or more individuals from the same organization get a 15% discount on our open enrollment programs. Use code "group" at checkout.

    Graduate Program Discounts: Executive Education program participants qualify for $3000 off any specialized master's, MBA, or graduate certificate from the Opus College of Business upon completion of an Executive Education Course. Contact us at execed@stthomas.edu to activate the discount.

    St. Thomas Employees: St. Thomas staff and faculty receive 50% off Executive Education courses. Contact us for details.

    Common Payment Methods:

    Employer Paid: Most employers offer professional development funding. Check with your manager or HR department to see what support may be available to you.

    How to talk to your company

    Dislocated Workers and CareerForce: The MN Dislocated Worker Program provides resources and funding to support those in career transition. To explore resources available to those looking to begin, support, or further their career, visit the CareerForce website.

    Self-Paid: Some participants choose to self-fund their executive education courses. We encourage you to explore our discounts for available savings opportunities.

    Scholarships: Scholarship opportunities are not available at this time. Please check back for future updates.

    Payment Methods: Credit card payment is accepted. Invoicing is available upon request.

    Participants who complete St. Thomas Executive Education programs earn a certificate of completion from the University of St. Thomas, a nationally recognized private university.

    Certificates are commonly used to:

    • Add executive education coursework to résumés and professional profiles
    • Share achievements on social media, including LinkedIn
    • Demonstrate verified skill development backed by a university credential
    • Support career advancement, role transitions, or promotion conversations
