Executive MBA

Redefine how you lead, starting with how you think.

Executive leadership isn’t about having every answer. It’s about having the judgment to ask the right questions. The St. Thomas Executive MBA is built for leaders who want more clarity, more confidence in complex situations, and a broader perspective on the decisions that shape their organizations. It’s for leaders ready to move beyond managing functions to understanding and influencing whole systems.

An 18-month Executive MBA designed for connection, insight, and applied learning

  • Build clarity and confidence in your decisions. Learn from faculty who bring real leadership experience and help you apply advanced concepts, data, and AI-informed insights to the decisions you face every day.
  • Learn with peers who elevate your thinking. Study with accomplished leaders who bring honesty, respect, and shared commitment to every conversation.
  • Strengthen your leadership presence. Coaching, executive leadership development, and reflection help you understand your decisions, your relationships, and the way you lead.
  • Apply learning immediately. Bring current challenges into the classroom and walk out with approaches you can put to work that week.
  • Join a community that stays with you. Build a trusted, locally rooted network that continues to sharpen and support your leadership long after graduation.

Personalized Leadership Development and Coaching

In the Executive MBA program, your leadership growth is intentional and personal. Assessments, reflection, and individualized coaching help you understand your habits and strengthen how you lead. You work with an executive coach to target specific behaviors and apply new approaches directly to your role.

You also grow with a small peer group that offers accountability and perspective. You refine your judgment, adapt your style to different situations, and lead with greater clarity and confidence.

Integrated, applied curriculum

Every course reflects the decisions senior leaders make. Strategy, finance, operations, technology, and people are taught as a connected system, helping you see how choices move across the enterprise.

You use what you learn immediately. In Operations for Executives, you diagnose bottlenecks through a Lean Six Sigma simulation. In Digital Transformation, you track early signals, assess emerging technologies, and use GenAI to model future scenarios. Each course strengthens your ability to lead in real time.

Global Experience

Your international residency expands how you see business and leadership. You visit organizations abroad, meet with local executives, and study how culture and markets shape strategy.

You experience this with your cohort, gaining insight from one another as you encounter new ideas and environments. You return with a clearer understanding of global systems and a stronger ability to lead in a connected world.

These peers become trusted allies. You build relationships that last well beyond graduation and gain a network that supports your leadership and growth throughout your career.

"The program has pushed me to explore what makes work meaningful."

Coming back to graduate school two decades after earning his bachelor’s degree, Zach Heilman had questions.

With AI, YouTube, and more content available than he could ever consume, he wondered if an MBA still made sense, especially when he was already leading teams and managing complex projects.

    So far, it's delivered.

"The Executive MBA has pushed me to understand how change truly happens, to see more clearly the difference between strategy formulation and execution, and to develop a deeper grasp of the art of finance.

Balancing this program with work and life has been demanding, yet it has already reshaped how I think, how I collaborate, and how I lead through complexity. Most of all, it has reinforced why I want to keep striving toward what is meaningful."
