The Schulze School of Entrepreneurship’s engagement goes beyond the college classroom. We’re here for seasoned leaders, budding entrepreneurs, and those who spread entrepreneurship in their schools and communities.
Each year, the Schulze School offers specialized programs to engage high school students. These programs focus on teaching students to think creatively, to solve problems important to their communities, and to start building a foundation of entrepreneurship. We invite students and their teachers to get a taste of the unique way St. Thomas teaches entrepreneurship, and to bring it back to their schools and communities and make a difference.

High School Innovation Day
The Schulze School of Entrepreneurship invites high school educators and up to ten students from each school to participate in a unique, fast-paced, one-day event focused on creative problem-solving, critical thinking, ideation, and more—all key elements for thinking like an entrepreneur or becoming a successful innovator.
Participants will engage in a hands-on workshop on design thinking and ideation, collaborating with entrepreneurial-minded students to create a prototype for a business concept. The event will conclude with an opportunity to observe current St. Thomas students pitch their business ideas at one of the university’s signature competition events.
Open to all high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors, this opportunity offers a full day of food, fun, and an enriching learning experience—at no cost.
Date: Friday, November 22, 2024, 8:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
