Application Checklist
Your first step is to start the application online. In the application, you will answer some questions and upload the documents described below. Once you've completed all components you will submit the application, and can log back into the portal at any time to check the status of your application materials.
In the online application, you will upload your resume that outlines your education and work experience.
Answers to three essay questions:
- Why are you interested in pursuing a Master of Science in Supply Chain Management and how will it support your current and/or future career goals? (500 words)
- Strong quantitative skills are necessary for success in this program. Please provide specific evidence of your quantitative ability from your past academic coursework in math, statistics, etc. Additionally, describe how you use these skills in your current or past career roles. (500 words)
- How will you contribute to the program, and why do you believe you will be a good fit? (300 words)
If you don’t have these materials ready yet, that’s okay. You can start your application now, hit “save,” and then log in later to complete it and upload your essay responses (Word or PDF accepted).
To apply to this program, you must have a bachelor's degree in any subject from a regionally accredited U.S. institution (or the international equivalent) or demonstrate satisfactory progress toward graduation on or before May of the calendar year of program start. We need original transcripts from all undergraduate and graduate institutions you have attended, sent directly from the school. If you are currently finishing your bachelor’s degree, we will need an official transcript directly from the school for admission, then a final transcript that reflects your degree awarded once you complete your bachelor’s degree.

All international applicants and non-native speakers of English must submit scores from the TOEFL, IELTS or Duolingo to be considered for admission. Score reports can be no more than two years old to be accepted.
Minimum score requirements:
- IELTS: (academic) overall score of 6.5
- TOEFL iBT (Internet-based test): overall score of 80 for the iBT. School code 6110.
- Duolingo: overall score of 105
Applicants who have successfully completed a previous undergraduate or graduate degree at a college or university and who can verify that the curriculum was taught in English can apply to the program with an English Language Proficiency waiver. Please contact your admissions representative about the waiver process.
To apply to the MS in Supply Chain Management program, you must have at least the international equivalent of a four-year bachelor's degree from a regionally-accredited U.S. institution. If you completed your undergraduate or graduate work at a college or university outside of the United States, you must complete a transcript evaluation. There are two ways to complete this evaluation (choose one):
- Educational Credential Evaluators (ECE) and World Education Services (WES) are independent transcript evaluation services that St. Thomas accepts for international transcript evaluation. If you choose to have ECE or WES do your evaluation, you will receive a copy of the evaluation. To use ECE or WES, visit either site and choose the “Start Your Evaluation” option. For ECE, you will choose "Course-by-Course" evaluation and for WES, you will choose "WES ICAP" evaluation.
- If you already have a transcript evaluation, or would prefer to use a service other than ECE or WES, email the admissions office or call (651) 962-8800. We first need to ensure that the evaluation service you use is accepted by our university.
