Shinwon Noh, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in the Schulze School of Entrepreneurship at the University of St. Thomas Opus College of Business. Her research interests are cultural entrepreneurship, emergence of new occupations and organizational fields, and paradoxes in management. She is particularly interested in examining these issues in the creative industries. She has published papers in several academic journals including Journal of Media Business Studies, Poetics: Journal of Empirical Research on Culture, the Media, and the Arts, and Asian Business & Management using data on art museums, digital media companies, and corporate philanthropic foundations.

Noh is a passionate teacher and is deeply committed to creating an engaging and experiential learning environment. She aims to help students see the link between theory and practice using various experiential learning tools.

Noh was previously an Assistant Professor of Management in the Lubin School of Business at Pace University in New York. She received a PhD and a Master’s degree in Organizational Behavior from Cornell University.
