Lee Winbush is a curious technologist, experienced leader, and growth-oriented collaborator with over 20 years of experience across various industries, from consulting and banking to retail and manufacturing. A certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Lee obtained his undergraduate degree from Capella University and an MBA from the University of St. Thomas Opus College of Business.
Lee is currently a Senior Technology & Transformation Manager for 3M’s Consumer Business Group, where he serves the maker of Post-it® Notes and Scotch tape by developing technology strategies and roadmaps, as well as enabling digital commerce solutions and connected products. In addition, Lee serves the University of St. Thomas Opus College as Executive Fellow and Adjunct Faculty, advancing and teaching emerging technologies in business.
Lee has successfully managed enterprise-scale infrastructure platforms, led complex global projects and programs, and served as a trusted digital advisor to key business stakeholders. Recent accomplishments include leading an IT transformation & ERP upgrade for a fast-growing business unit, leading enterprise-wide process rewiring, and leading IT integration for a $2.5 billion global acquisition.
When he’s not immersed in all things 3M, Lee enjoys volunteering at church and going on road trips with his wife and 3 kids in their camper.
My name is Melissa Ingabire, I am an International Student from Rwanda studying Mechanical Engineering. I am a Research Student in the Playful Learning Lab leading projects for the Minnesota Children's Museum.
Lisa Abendroth, PhD, is Academic Director for Business in a Digital World at the University of St. Thomas and a Certified Foresight Practitioner. Her mission is to develop leaders who understand the power and potential of emerging technologies in business and society, and who can responsibly harness that power for the common good. In addition to developing new programs, she teaches Modern Business Mindset and Emerging Technology in Business. Her research focuses on the competencies business professionals need to succeed in a digital world.
