Succession. That big hairy goal for so many families to plan for and pass the business ownership and leadership to the next generation. Each year the Family Business Center hosts a breakfast event around this topic, either a panel discussion or bringing one family up as a case study. This year, we’re flipping the script a bit to hear from three members of the younger generation about their views on succession in their family business. What worked? What didn’t? What, if anything they’d like a redo at? We’ll discuss topics like how they learned the business, engagement in family meetings, learning financials, personal growth, working with advisers and more.
