GRADUATE CERTIFICATE IN OMNICHANNEL STRATEGY ACADEMIC EXPERIENCE

The characteristics of a great omnichannel strategy vary by industry, organization and product types. In the Graduate Certificate in Omnichannel Strategy program, you’ll learn from professors and professionals who have experience creating and implementing a strong omnichannel experience in financial services, retail and hospitality and health care. Our teaching team will give you great insight into not only how your industry implements omnichannel strategy but also may spark ideas from other industries to help you along your journey.

Learning from doing is an important component of the St. Thomas experience. Not only will you apply your learning in the capstone project, you’ll gain hands-on experience in applying concepts, like:
  • Human-centered design
  • Signal-tracking and future-casting
  • Customer journey mapping
  • Integrating humans, data, technology and physical assets
  • Process design and improvement
  • Horizon assessment

Applied Learning

Experience hands-on learning and gain real-world experiences at St. Thomas through our applied learning approach. By working with industry experts to develop our programs, we provide you with actual challenges from local companies. Leverage the information you learn in class to solve practical problems using industry-leading tools and methods. Plus, our professional effectiveness courses prepare you to interact with various stakeholders and partners in the workplace.

Traditional vs. Hybrid Courses

Choose from traditional on-campus classes, or courses that take place both in person and online. Hybrid courses can offer greater scheduling flexibility, feature the latest online instructional technologies to complement less frequent classroom sessions on campus. If you take a hybrid course, during the weeks between on-campus meetings, you’ll stay engaged thorough web-based presentations and interactions with peers and faculty.

How Often Will You Attend Class?

During the Fall and Spring semesters, traditional courses usually meet weeknight per week (M–Th) from roughly 6 to 9 p.m.. Summer courses typically meet on weeknights from late May to August, from 5:30 to 9:45 p.m.. J-term classes usually meet once a week (M-Th), and all day Saturday throughout January.
